• Are you strictly reservation based or do you take Walk-ins?
At Jammal, our dedication to serving the freshest plates means we meticulously plan our preparations around our reservations, whether it’s sourcing produce from our garden, the market, or selecting the finest daily wild-caught fish.
Our commitment to quality and sustainability drives us to ensure minimal waste through precise preparation.
As such, we operate primarily on a reservation-only basis, allowing us to tailor our service and kitchen efforts specifically to our expected guests. On the rare occasion that last-minute cancellations occur, we may accommodate walk-ins to fill these unexpected openings. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to providing you with an exceptional dining experience that celebrates the freshest ingredients and our passion for sustainability.
• How far in advance should I book a reservation?
For the best chance of securing a table at our restaurant, we recommend making a reservation anywhere from a month to a week in advance, depending on the time of year. However, the ideal timing is about 10 days prior to your desired dining date. While we occasionally can accommodate short-notice reservations, planning ahead is your best bet, especially during peak months
• I used the online booking form and now I’m on the waitlist. Should I call to confirm?
If you find yourself on the waitlist, especially on high-demand days, we kindly ask that you do not call the restaurant to confirm your waitlist status, as it adds to our workload during busy times. Rest assured, we diligently monitor our waitlist and will contact you as soon as a table becomes available, which could be anywhere from one week to one day before your requested booking date
• Can I bring my own food or wine? Is there a corkage fee?
We serve only the items listed on our menu and cannot accept outside food or beverages. Our wine list is thoroughly curated to cater a myriad of tastes, and pairing options
• Do you have anything other Fish on your Menu?
We are a Lebanese mezza and seafood restaurant, while we offer a variety of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options within our mezza selection, our main courses are exclusively fish-based. Please note, we do not offer any other types of meat.
• Are kids Allowed? Are there any age restrictions?
Children (12 years and under) are welcome, with a limit of up to 3 children per reservation, to ensure a serene dining atmosphere for all our guests. Please note, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and are expected to maintain respectful behavior—no screaming, running around the restaurant, or throwing rocks on the shore.
• Are Pets Allowed?
Dogs are welcome, but must remain on a leash at all times to ensure the comfort of all guests. Dogs are not allowed in the water to maintain hygiene and safety for all.
• Is your restaurant wheelchair accessible?
At present, our restaurant is not fully equipped to accommodate wheelchairs. However, we are deeply committed to inclusivity and are actively working towards making our space fully accessible to all guests. In the meantime, our staff is more than willing to provide assistance to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience for everyone. We hope to update our facilities to welcome wheelchair users very soon.
• Is your restaurant available for hosting special events like anniversaries, weddings, or birthdays?
We’re flattered you’d consider celebrating your special occasion with us! However, due to the intimate size of our restaurant and our commitment to keeping it accessible to everyone, we’re unable to host large groups or private events. Our space also serves as our family’s home, making it challenging to accommodate big celebrations. We hope you understand and can still join us for smaller, more intimate gatherings
• If have dietary restrictions or allergies, how should I inform the restaurant?
We take dietary restrictions and allergies very seriously to ensure a safe and enjoyable dining experience for all our guests. If you or any member of your party has dietary restrictions or allergies, please inform us at the time of making your reservation. You can note this in our online booking form or mention it when confirming your reservation over the phone. This advance notice allows our kitchen to prepare and adjust as needed to accommodate your dietary needs and safety.
• Do you serve alcohol?
We’re all about making sure everyone has a great time at Jammal. However, we stick to the rules when it comes to alcohol. That means we can only serve drinks to guests who are 18 and older, and we might need to see some ID to prove it. Also, if anyone’s looking a bit too tipsy, we might have to say no to serving more alcohol. It’s all in the name of keeping things fun and safe for everyone. Thanks for understanding!
